Finally I'm back to my blog. It's been sometime since I posted but that is soon to be rectified! I leave for Vietnam, Camboida and Thailand in just 17 days and am looking forward to the adventure.
My plan is to regularly update you on the great things we see and do along the way. I trust you will enjoy the comments and information and perhaps, be inspired to take a similar trip in the future.
For this event I have a group going on the AMA Waterways AMA Lotus riverboat and after a few days in Hanoi and Ha Long Bay, we will fly to Siem Reap, Cambodia and board the boat to travel down the famed Mekong River. Although water levels are low, it should prove to be an exciting trip!!
We end up in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam and are looking forward to exploring yet another famous city. Then we fly to Bangkok and enjoy both sightseeing in and around the city as well as the World Wide Rotary International Convention. After that phenomenal event, I'll travel on up to Chiang Mai and explore the areas in northern Thailand. I'm looking forward to the elephants and the temples!
